High paying affiliate programs can pay out up to $10,000 per sale. In my early years as an affiliate, I spent my time chasing sales which gave me $20 commissions. When I look back now I realise how stupid that was. But at the time, I didn’t know any different. I was only doing what many affiliates do to make money from the internet.
There’s plenty of other mistakes that I’ve made along the way too. I’m sure I won’t be the first or the last. Affiliates can expect too much for too little effort. Having an entitlement attitude can do you a lot of damage. There’s still work to be done even when you’ve got high paying affiliate programs working for you. You still need to understand how it works and how to use marketing effectively.
High Paying Affiliate Programs
Good high paying affiliate programs offer more than just a single product. A good product range like this one, can make all the difference when it comes to profiting from the internet. When I started out, I was trying to sell single items. Single items can only pay you a single commission. You need to sell them over and over again to make any profit. Good high paying affiliate programs should have a number of items within your product range to sell including:
- High ticket products – Products valued up to $35,000 can pay out a massive 25-40% commission. That’s $14,000 for a single sale at the highest level. Granted you’ll need to purchase this product to be able to profit from such high commissions, but it’s worth it if you’re serious about your business.
- Subscription products – A good subscription product range can allow an affiliate to earn ongoing commissions from previous sales. Think about the average physical store. The owner makes profit from regular customers. An online business should offer the same opportunity.
- Up-Sells – Up-sells are products to sell to existing customers. With a built in sales team, you don’t even need to think about upsetting yourself. Existing customers are much more likely to purchase again from you after their initial purchase. Think of McDonald’s and Burger King who are masters of the Up-sell “Do you want fries with that?” or “Would you like to go large?”
Even just having subscription products can make a massive difference to your online business over time. Each happy customer will continue to keep their membership and provide you with a lifetime of ongoing commissions. That’s obviously if you choose the right products of course, and if your customers are in fact happy ones! It’s also useful to get affiliate marketing mentoring, if you’re serious about building such a business.
High Paying Affiliate Programs – Get The Proper Training
High paying affiliate programs give you a massive earning potential. But that potential doesn’t necessarily translate to actual profit unless you are prepared to roll your sleeves up and work hard on your business, and on yourself. The SFM business system offers the training and education to capitalise on their high paying affiliate programs. When I first got started with a high ticket product range, I didn’t know what I needed to do. I like the analogy of being given a Ferrari before you even know how to drive! I didn’t know how to drive it!
Only after following some online entrepreneurs within the business community did the penny finally start to drop. Understanding how a high ticket affiliate programs work, is going to help with your marketing. Without a successful marketing strategy, which is the driving engine of your online business, no amount of high ticket products will help you. Consider buying the most expensive gym membership in town, but never going. Or, if you go you don’t actually work out! Your results will reflect both your understanding of your business system and the effort you put into driving it forwards.
Back End Profits – High Paying Affiliate Programs
Your back end profits are the commissions you make after all your marketing budget is considered. With high paying affiliate programs, this is much better than a one-off product you can expect to earn $20 from. As you make sales, and your members buy products from the up-sells you have in your ‘online store’, you’ll start to earn commissions which are ongoing and rise in value. Even the smaller trickles in income from membership commissions are cumulative. That means as members stick with you, and the business, you continue to receive commissions each and every month. Over time, and with greater numbers, this alone has a dramatic effect on your bottom line.
What Does This Mean For Affiliates?
When I started out as an affiliate, I was trying to ‘rank’ websites on Google and get free traffic. Over time, this has become more and more difficult to do. This is especially true within a competitive niche like affiliate marketing or ‘making money online’. So if you’re promoting products which help people earn online, it’s going to be difficult to get free traffic because of all the competition. It’s not impossible of course, but difficult.
High paying affiliate programs offer an alternative. High paying affiliate programs can be marketed with paid traffic. This means you can make progress very quickly if you are able, and prepared to use paid marketing strategies.
At first I was very tentative with this. I was afraid to lose money because I didn’t have any! I definitely wouldn’t recommend starting with this unless you have a monthly budget which you can afford to lose, at first. Much of your advertising won’t work. But as you learn and grow, you’ll start seeing some adverts that work, and produce profits. As you sculpt your advertising strategies, you’ll be able to choose you budget and slowly scale up those adverts which are working. At the same time you can cut back on ones which don’t work.
This takes some time and of course patience. You shouldn’t use money you can’t afford to lose.
Earn While You Learn
Smaller items don’t offer affiliates the ability to learn paid marketing strategies. You’ll just lose money in most cases. But with high paying affiliate programs, you’ll have a greater chance of recouping your marketing. Expect to spend a realistic monthly budget and run your adverts for 6-12 months. I started out with a tiny budget and slowly increased it as I gained confidence in what I was doing.
Some of the marketers I’m learning from within the community are spending massive budgets of $20k+ a month. Don’t let this intimidate you because they started out exactly where you are too. They didn’t start out with such high budgets. They started with small realistic monthly budgets which were affordable to them at the place where they were. As they started picking up sales of the high ticket affiliate products, they were able to re-invest this capital back into scaling up their marketing campaigns, and reaching more people.
Fear – What Stands In Your Way
There’s a lot of fear around money and building an internet business is no exception. Our programming and our minds remind us to ‘stay safe’ and avoid risk. This can keep us safe, but it can also keep us trapped in a life which is no longer serving us, or giving us any joy!
One of the major roadblocks to success online with any system, but particularly high paying affiliate programs, is the amount of money you can potentially earn. It’s true that there is a fear associated with success, as with failure. Success brings many issues which previously were out of your mind. One of my major hurdles was spending an advertising budget, without really knowing or believing I was going to make any sales.
Poverty mindset and limiting thinking can be a cause of this, but so can real poverty. If you’ve struggled making money for years, it’s hard to believe that any high paying affiliate programs are going to change all that. The truth is that on their own they won’t! You still need to overcome any barriers you have to taking action on building your business and developing yourself.
Scepticism is another fear with affiliate programs like this. If you’re in any doubt checkout this page which backs The Sfm up with real facts and testimonials.
